Family Act protection

Seminar: Family Act protection from domestic violence

 1. Expert meeting with legal professionals in the field of Family Act: "PROTECTION AGAINST DOMESTIC VIOLENCE BY FAMILY ACT"

Program's objectives:

  • Informing about the obligations of the state and state authorities in accordance with ratified international documents;
  • Getting to know the shapes and dynamics of domestic violence and the characteristics of the victim and the perpetrator;
  • Consideration of the problem of legal practice in litigation for protection against domestic violence and the position of the victim of domestic violence in exercising their right to protection.

Program duration: 1 working day (5 working hours)

The optimum number of participants: 20 participants

 

2. Expert meeting for judges and experts of special family departmants in CSW: "PARTNERSHIP PROCEEDINGS AND THE BEST INTEREST OF THE CHILD - PROBLEMS IN THE ASSESSMENT AND POSSIBLE MANIPULATION AND ABUSE OF CHILDREN IN PROCEEDINGS"

Program's objectives:

  • Introduction to the the formation of the concept of 'the best interests of the child' and comparative legal interpretation and application of this standard;
  • Consideration of reality - adults / children;
  • Difficulties professionals in the work and decisions in difficult cases;
  • Introduction to the theory of 'attachment' ';
  • Understanding the divorce, changed roles and position of children;
  • How to help the family in the process of divorce - domestic and comparative solutions.

Program duration: 1 working day (5 working hours)

 1. Expert meeting with legal professionals in the field of Criminal Code "PROTECTION AGAINST DOMESTIC VIOLENCE BY CRIMINAL CODE"

Program's objectives:

  • Informing on responsibilities of the state and state organs in accordance with ratified international documents;
  • Getting to know the shapes and dynamics of domestic violence, the characteristics of victims and the perpetrator;
  • Consideration of legal practice in proceedings conducted for the criminal offense 'domestic violence' ';
  • Introduction to the new proceedings in the medical expertise.

Program duration: 1 working day (5 working hours)

2. Expert meeting for criminal judges and public prosecutors: "POSITION OF WOMEN AND CHILDREN VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE - DIFFICULTIES IN THE PROSECUTION OF CRIMINAL ACTS AND COMPARATIVE LEGAL SOLUTIONS FOR EXCEEDING THESE DIFFICULTIES"

Program's objectives:

  • The influence of personal and social attitudes of individuals to make decisions;
  • Fundamental attribution error;
  • The phenomenon of blaming the victims of violence;
  • The psychological aspects of domestic violence;
  • The rules for conducting interviews with victims of violence;
  • The rights of particularly vulnerable victims of violence and comparative legal solutions.
