Violence against women is a manifestation of historically unequal power relations between men and women, which have led to domination over and discrimination against women by men and to the prevention of the full advancement of women. Violence against women is one of the crucial social mechanisms by which women are forced into a subordinate position compared with men. Violence against women is an obstacle to the achievement of equality, development and peace.

230 women's NGOs from the Western Balkans sent a letter to UN agencies appeal them that during the realization of their activities include and respect the expertise and commitment of women's organizations, as well as to increase funds intended for support and protection of women's NGOs.

saznanja nastavnika sNasilje u emotivnim vezama srednjoškolaca, posebno digitalno seksualno nasilje, nije tema koja je u potpunosti bliska nastavnicima i nastavnicama u srednjim školama.Ova tema uglavnom nije deo profesionalnih razgovora među nastavnicima, a o njoj se retko razgovara i sa roditeljima učenika. Ipak, nastavnici su izuzetno zainteresovani da se bliže upoznaju sa uzrocima i posledicama digitalnog nasilja u partnerskim vezama mladih ljudi, tj svojih učenika.
