In June 2006, the Autonomous Women's Center has started implementation of the project "Let’s bond the community - encouraging actions of local government, public services and non-governmental organizations in building a model of coordinated action in the field of domestic violence." The aim of the project is to contribute to developing a sustainable model of social intervention and the establishment of coordinated actions of all institutions, individuals and organizations in the field of domestic violence at the local level. This project is supported by the Holland organization HIVOS.

Associates on project activities are local municipalities and social welfare centers from 4 Belgrade city municipalities - Lazarevac, Palilula, Zvezdara, Vozdovac, and 5 municipalities in Serbia - Kragujevac, Loznica, Cuprija, Golubac and Smederevska Palanka. All partners in this project are equally motivated to achieve the planned activities and expected results:

• harmonized definitions and principles of all relevant services in the community
• integrated and harmonized handling procedures to protect against domestic violence in all relevant services in the community
• created a sustainable model of coordinated intervention of institutions and organizations in the community with the active support of local government.
